STOTT PILATES is a worldwide exercise program proven to be beneficial for every type of body.
As a fully certified STOTT PILATES instructor, I have taken anatomy and physiology along with over 200 other required classroom hours. I have over 4,000 teaching hours and plan to further my education by becoming an instructor trainer. It takes only ten sessions for you to see and feel a difference. My clients say to me all the time, “Thank you, Paula” and I reply, “Don’t thank me. It’s you who did all of the work!!” That, in, itself, is why I made the decision to become a Pilates instructor. I truly love the work that I do. I get to see the way it has helped so many of my clients build strength and flexibility in addition to transforming their bodies and rebalance their posture.
I have always enjoyed exercise and wanted to share this with others. I believe physical fitness is a life choice that improves all around health. I first started teaching at the YMCA as a fitness instructor. There I was able to get my Pilates mat certification and taught from 2003 to 2008. Working in this field, I was introduced to the Pilates reformer. The reformer is a machine, which uses spring tension as resistance to strengthen every body part. Later, I was inspired to be certified on equipment designed for advanced students of Pilates. I thought about all of the possible places to take the training and decided that STOTT PILATES was the best choice. Helping people look and feel better for life! I will never give up on this goal. Pilates is an experience that will help you throughout all your life stages. Stand tall and feel great, your body will thank you for it!
